35 Pass Recycle Bin Not Working

Eraser 5.86.1
Windows XP Service Pack 3

When I do a 35 pass erase on the recycle bin, only one pass is performed. When deleting a file, 35 pass works fine.

I have tried uninstalling Eraser, cleaning the registry, and reinstalling. The problem persists.

Any suggestions? Thank you.
