R roysacks New Member Nov 14, 2010 #1 Hi there I recently performed an entire hard disk erase of all unused disk space on C: After completion, I opened a text document I had saved on my desktop but it was empty. The same applies for all my text documents (notepad). Any ideas? Thanks Roy

D DavidHB Active Member Nov 14, 2010 #2 Re: ALL my text documents empty after erasing unused disk sp Something must have been wrong with the file system. Try running a disk check (which will be run on reboot) on the drive. David
