Hi im new to eraser and I have a question. When I use eraser to overwrite a folder on my hard drive, does it take care of overwriting all files in that folder, or do I have to erase all the freespace of the whole drive to make sure all files from that folder have been properly overwritten?

thanks.

Erasing a directory will also erase all the files in that directory.

If you have moved files around etc then you should do a freespace
wipe to clear up any remaining data clusters.
