Failures when erasing free space

I ran a free space overwrite on my C: drive and got a ton of error messages like these:

Failed: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2\schedul2.exe

Are these files that have cluster tips that can't be written to for some reason? Is there any way to force them to be overwritten? Or is this something that I don't need to worry about?

You PROBABLY won't need to worry about them because these are program files and probably are locked because they are currently running. It doesn't mean that there's no issue with it, the cluster tip area may be contaminated with sensitive information, but for the average user it shouldn't really be an issue.
