File '~ERAFSUD.TMP'

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice - wonder if anyone can help.........

I was given Eraser to try & began to run it a couple of days ago - by yesterday afternoon, it had reached 95%, but I made the foolish error of trying to uninstall a program while Eraser was still running. After the uninstallation, my comp decided to restart, leaving me with a file on my Hard Drive (~ERAFSUD.TMP) which is 8.82GB in size.

My Hard Drive is only 20GB, so I'm now getting warning notifications that my free space is down to c600Mb!!

Is it safe to just delete the ~ERAFSUD file & all its contents in order to get my Hard Drive space back?

Any advice greatly appreciated........

The temp Folder is called ~ERAFSWD.TMP rather than ~ERAFSUD.TMP

Either way, it is safe to delete the folder and files within.

Hi Finola,

Many thanks for your reply - I've now deleted this file & it's contents & recovered my 'lost' space.

Your advice greatly appreciated.
