I just erased my computer with the Boot and Nuke disk and then I put in the recovery disk, but nothing's happening. I get an error message that says:

"No hard disk was detected in the system. If may be necessary to run the FDisk to set up the hard disk for formatting." And then it brings me to a dos prompt.

What should I do now??

After nuking your disk, it is like it came from the store. There are no partitions and no formatting. Fdisk is used to create partitions, which can then be formatted. After this, you can install software.

You mention a recovery disk. What kind of recovery disk?

I got the FDisk

I found out after I did the Nuke & Boot that you need to create a boot disk. The instructions only said that I needed the recovery disk. Unfortunately the recovery disk I have is not bootable. It only contains the software that came with the computer. Luckily I was able to borrow the Windows boot disk from someone. So I was able to install Windows back on the computer.

I don't know if I did the partition part right, but the computer is functioning again.
