Installation Issue

I'm running windows 7 64-bit. When I try to install Eraser 6.0.8.2273, it says "A newer version of Eraser is already installed. Setup will now exit." I had recently uninstalled the previous version. I followed some of the instructions which involved going into the registry and appdata, but to no avail.

It's (now) a known bug. The temporary workaround is to uninstall 6.0.7 before installing version 6.0.8. You may also need to delete the 6.0.7. Task List.
