problem with erasing unused space

On my computer with VISTA i got this message when trying to erasing unused space:

Cluster tips = 0 bytes

Failures:
Error: Erasing the Free Space of a drive requires elevation
Error: Erasing the Free Space of a drive requires elevation
Error: Failed to erase file names from drive C:\, don't know why exactly.


What is happening??????

Close all Eraser instances in the system tray, then rightclick the Eraser shortcut icon, then click Run as Administrator. Re-run the erase pass.
