screensaver? blanking screen disabled, why ?

when I boot dban, it tells me something like "blanking screen disabled", why ? I don't want to get the display of my notebook be damaged because of beeing >12 hours running ?

how can i disable that ? additionally, on a notebook, cpu usage is only 1%!
