Wipe disk with hundreds/thousands of bad sectors?

How can I tell DBAN to just keep on going if hundreds of sector read/write errors occur? Just report the bad sectors when done, but otherwise proceed normally through all passes.

Normally an OS can detect bad sectors and map them out, working around them. Meanwhile DBAN seems to give up on drives like this and can never finish wiping past the bad sectors.

If the sector is bad for me, it'll likely be bad for anyone else also trying to usee the drive, so I'm not too concerned about the "unwipability" of bad sectors.

The only exception might be if a head crashed and an entire platter does not get wiped dude to the bad head failing to read/write any sectors on the damaged platter. (This seems a mighty rare situation.)
