Can't get 6.0.10.2620 to work with Win 7 Ultimate

Couldn't get 6.0.9.xxxx to work either when I got the computer last fall. Used Eraser on several computers going back to ME with no problem. 6.0.10.2620 downloads ok, icon and all, but get an error message "Eraser has stopped working" when I try to open it.

Any ideas appreciated......
