Freespace wipe for Partitions on Volume Mount Folders
Is it possible to provide freespace wiping for partitons accessed through NTFS volume mount folders?
These partitions do not have an associated drive letter to access them by.
Task Properties + "unused space on drive" does not list these partitons or allow navigation to them.
These partitions can of course be accessed for other Eraser functions such as wiping folders and files.
This is for Eraser 5.8.7, OS is XP Pro SP3.

I'm not too sure, but I do believe that Eraser 6 does this already.

Re: Freespace wipe for Partitions on Volume Mount Folders
Hi,
Can eraser work for volumes without mount point [Drive letter]?
Hope Eraser could use Volume GUID [which is unique for all volumes] for this operation.
Is it possible Joel.?
/Thanks

Not at the moment. 6.2 has some code to deal with volumes, but accessing files via the native names is a to-do item.
