Erase Multifunction Printer/Scanner HD
Hello,
We are trying to learn how to use Heidi to erase the HD of a Mulifunction Printer/Scanner that contains sensitive patient information before we donate the machine. We searched the forum but could not find anything. Would appreciate any guidance. Thank you!

You'll have to find a way to extract the hard disk and connect it to a Windows computer; Eraser doesn't currently work with OSes other than Windows.
I'm not sure whether the hard disk is a user-removable part, though. If it is, it should be fairly straightforward. Otherwise, I think this line of thought would be a dead end.

Don't PM or Email me questions: they won't be answered any faster than on the forum and knowledge won't be accessible by all.

Agreed. Like other forums, we fight a continuous war against spam. I have administrator privileges, and have deleted the user and their posts.
