predictable, happens all the time, email activation fails, just disable it, once again i'm foaming at the mouth because my head was full of ideas, and i've been stopped once again by a system that yet another admin is incapable of maintaining. predictable failure is worse than failure.
email activation must die. roar

periodically overwrite a small amount of data instead of all at once.
compatible with encryption products? full disk encryption? truecrypt?

Hmm, activation is always a headache I agree, but in our case we really got spammed and don't have the manpower to clean it up... can't really help you there, sorry.
What do you mean by whether Eraser is compatible with full-disk encryption (TrueCrypt? or Bitlocker or otherwise?)
