Description

I have a Mac Pro Tower and Laptop that I have Bootcamped with Windows XP 32-bit in which I installed Eraser 6.0. I have Eraser scheduled to process unused disk spaced and the recycle bin. Upon processing the recycle bin, a folder is created on the root of the C: drive named various things, usually gobbly gook, i.e. tsnfasdhn:&bjkaui)!kan, and contains A LOT of 221 MB size files named randomly like the root folder. Eraser actually quit processing once for me, and a warning came up that said the computer was running low on space, or something to that effect. This phenomenon happens to both my towe and laptop. Have you run into this before, is Eraser not compatible with the Bootcamped partition of a Mac?

Thanks, Teri

That's normal for the unused space erase feature to complete. Leave the program to do it's work and once it's done the space should be restored and files deleted.
