Description
This condition was observed on a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5921 laptop computer running Windows Vista, Service Pack 2.
After installing Eraser 6.0.6.1376 (the stable build), whenever I log into my account on this computer, a DOS box pops up. The title of the window is "C:\bin\Eraser\Eraser.exe". (N.B. On my system, Eraser was installed at the path, "C:\bin\Eraser".) At the top line of the DOS box, an error message states, "Unknown action: -hide". Two lines below this, another message says, "Press enter to continue . . ."
After pressing Enter, the DOS box disappears. Eraser appears to work correctly on my system otherwise.
I attempted to uninstall and reinstall Eraser. However, the problem recurs even after doing so.
This is only a nuisance to me. However, it is likely to scare away less sophisticated users.
I am a software developer, so please feel free to let me know if I can be of any assistance in resolving this bug. I could, for example, run tests on my own system to help isolate the problem.
Thank you for your efforts on the Eraser project!

You didn't uninstall v5 and installed v6 over v5, which caused this problem. Run the v5 uninstaller and it should resolve itself.
