Well Overwriter...I downloaded the .net 3.5 direct from MS and I get the same error. I tried many times, clearing out temp files, rebooting, etc..nothing is working...without .net 3.5 I cannot use Eraser 6(rc3) :( I will keep watching this forum for answers...Thanks Overwriter

Hi Overwritter, When I go to install Eraser....it then downloads and installs .net 3.5 and on installing it errors. Maybe I will download .net 3.5 and then retry.

Did you download the ISO link...https://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=61951&use_mirror=internap&filename=dban-2.0.0_powerpc.iso&77762050 once you download it..burn the ISO onto a disk using a burning application that does ISO files...a free one is IMGBURN...

Very nicely put Garrett. Keep up the great work Garrett & Joel! Sidebar..my Vista 64 still has issue's running Eraser. It seems to install fine but upon running, it shows error, Eraser.dll not found...or on that order...even tho it is in the directory. Im in hopes future releases of this...

You sure can ...just download the exe file and burn it onto a cd....take it to the other computer and put it in and click on Eraser.exe...it will then install on that computer. So you're clear it will not install on the computer that downloads it unless you open the .exe file
