    This is a permissions issue - i assume logged in as administrator it works? Eraser needs low level access to the drives.

    Do you stiull have this issue? Eraser creates a task for each job and should delete any ad-hoc tasks once completed.

    Eraser has standard installer - you could capture the install or do a /Q and deploy Wiping the Recyclebin can be done via a script

    Crash during Erase

    Hi David, have you turned off your anti virus? Also, run chkdsk to see if there are any drive issues and delete the temp directory created by eraser.

    The actual issue is that you are trying to erase directories locked by the OS. Probably DLL's in use in that directory. To wipe the C drive you really need to boot up with something like DBAN and wipe at the OS level.

    Eraser won't uninstall applications if that is what you mean. It can wipe the directories of those applications which is not a good idea as you now have an improperly uninstalled version of Office etc
