Aborting erase prevents auto deletion of the erase cache.

I use Fix it 50463 to clear the paging file at shutdown. Works good. :)
Yes it takes a few seconds longer to shutdown because it overwrites, and not just deletes, the contents.
There will be a large, strange file in the root directory the size of the amount of space you lost. Delete it.
If you can't find it install and run TreeSize Free or WinDirStat.
You might give the 6.0.8 version a try by temporarily installing it in virtual mode. After testing it you reboot the computer, the installation disappears, and if you were satisfied with it you can install in normal mode.
