    1) Have you run eraser , without clicking ANYTHING???? Please try this and do not click, ok, cancel or anything else. 2) Clicking cancel is giving eraser errors, please do not click it. I am unsure about the exact mecanisums as to how eraser dismisses warnings, but it will just let it run...

    How do I completely erase my PC?

    I was always under the imprestion that memory chips could only store data as long as that had a constant power feed. If this is true , wouldn't a complete shutdown , and unplug lasting for an 30min - 1hour do the trick?

    Garrett is quite correct lost clusters do need to be fixed before Eraser ( or defrag ) is run. However ther is another HD error that can cause problems if scandisk is not run before Eraser ( or defrag) , I'm not shure what it is called but it causes errors in the 'free space map' on the hard...

    Because he is hitting 'cancel' which is causing Eraser to quit abnormally. Eraser should dismiss the warning after a few seconds. Just ignore any 'free space is low' warnings that you may get while you are running Eraser, and Eraser should delete all of it's temp files.
