TBH, and I'll be frank, nothing.
But the forum is just a stock phpBB install. I can write PHP, but as it stands I've got insufficient time to work on Eraser, so... we'll have to stick to whatever behaviour phpBB prescribes, I'm afraid.
I'm not trying to defend Eraser or anything, but CCleaner targets a slightly different audience. Naturally the behaviour would be different.
Eraser started out as a tool for (very) paranoid people. Or, well, at least I thought so.
System Volume Information is a protected folder and no one will be able to touch it. So don't worry about that error.
I probably might implement some whitelist that won't report these kinds of errors. But I'm not sure.
Eraser 5 will replace all erased files with DLLs, if memory serves. Eraser 6 allows you to turn this feature off.
But if it's Eraser 5, unfortunately I don't think we've got the resources to maintain that any longer.
I'll not comment on 6.1, because that was never meant to be used by the masses.
As for the 6.0.10 updating checking, does 6.0.11 (which I hear was released in my absence) fix it?

I do not understand why Eraser's context menu does not appear. We merely follow the same things that other context menu registering programs do, so if you can point out one thing we're doing wrong, I'll be more than happy to look into...
I'm back for the summer. I hope. I've got programmes in school still, but hopefully that's not too unmanageable.
First I need to see what's going on here and then plan something for the next few weeks.
