Unless you count the hours installing;testing;reconfiguring, and retesting over and over and then repairing the operating system and programs of your computer.

Untick cluster tips in Eraser preferences and select a one pass option and run Eraser again. This should return your full freespace allocation.

Yes it does, I used to just delete them which just puts them in the HDs freespace or if the application lets me..put them in the recycle bin then delete them. Now I use Eraser, I use the "Explorer" feature to navigate to the Quarantine file click select all and erase and poof whatever...

You will be removing every file that you deleted, and those files can be recovered with a simple undelete utility, making your computer less of a security risk. HD search times will improve, the HD will be able to breath better.
Nothing is wrong. When You use Eraser to erase Free space first thing it does is "Search for Cluster Tip Areas to be erased (that is if you have it checked in Edit/Preferences/Erasing) for 1 hour or so. The more program files the more time is needed by Eraser to locate all parts of the Cluster...
