I'd like to see a pause and a skip file feature.

I am using Gutmann's method on DBAN, and was wondering what the differnce between a pass and a round is. When I use dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/hda conv=noerror it takes at least 8 hours, and the passes seem to be going by fast using urandom I take it.
