    Can overwriting recycle bin damage hard drive?

    I believe from what I heard is that when you delete a file to the recycle bin the file stays in the same place on the disk. Correct me if I'm wrong. Bob

    Cluster Tips

    I havn't had your type of problem. But with Eraser 5.7 under NT erasing Cluster Tips it would cause some corruption in my encrypted files for some reason, so I had to stop using it. Bob

    Windows swap file

    Does anyone know when you select the option to clear the Windows Swap File in Eraser 5.7 does it clear multiple swap files(Pagefile.sys)? I moved my main swap file to another drive due to low space on my system volume & windows recomended keeping a swap file of 2 meg on my system volume incase...

    Eraser 5.7 & Windows 95 problem

    I'm trying to install Eraser 5.7 on Windows 95 & it says 'This program requires windows version 4.0.1111 or later' I installed the necessary updated files & it still will not work. As far as I know the only versions of Windows 95 are 4.00.950 or 950A,B or C. Anyone have any idea's? Bob :cry:
