A time consuming process

From Erasers progress I estimate it will take 48 to 96 hours to clear free space on my hard drive. I have 168 meg free space to clean, Is this normal? I think I have it set to do a seven pass erasure.

Unless you are hiding state secrets a one pass erase is sufficient and quicker.
