erased

Why is eraser "trying to act as a server" ? I am getting a ZoneAlarm notification that Eraser "is trying to act as a server"- source IP 0.0.0.0ort 49155 The source IP changes Port- 49156, 49157 etc, but the 0.0.0.0. stays the same. It isn't for updates, that goes to an external IP.
As I understand it- "0.0.0.0 is a non-routable meta-address used to designate an invalid, unknown or non applicable target." Wikipedia.
So, is the program trying to access the internet as a server or is this some part of the internal workings of Eraser? I should mention that I run two HD's on my laptop- an 222GB SSD for system and a 650 GB SATA for storage. Eraser is turned on for the SATA only.
