I am running Windows98, latest, updated service packs.
I had a virus, which trashed one directory, renaming files.
Recovered OK.
In cleaning up, have been trying to delete a file out of
recycle bin. Tried various methods from Microsoft/FAQs,
but still get error 1026, cannot find file......
Can not make it go away.
Discovered and downloaded Eraser.
Eraser finds file, but when try to delete, comes back with
access denied.
I did a survey of registry with regedit, but did not find anything
obvious, with my limited experience and knowledge of the registry.
Path is
c:RECYCLEDDC11SafeCast Product Licenses\__-}2D.A$-
Any suggestions much appreciated.
