So if I wanted to just get a clean after completely cleaning the hard drive would creating a boot disk and then formatting C: be enough? or should I format C: and then what?
After running DBAN you will need to format the drive as normal for your OS. DBAN will clean the disk completly. You need to format again only so you can install your OS.
