Completed with errors

Hi !

I've just downloaded Eraser V 6 and sometimes, i've this error message when i try to earse a .rar or .zip file


"Error The file C:\Users\***********\Documents\My Downloads\BYO.rar could not be erased because the file was either compressed, encrypted or a sparse file."

What's wrong? And what can i do to correct the problem?

The error is exactly what it says - the file is ether compressed, encrypted or sparse. Compressed files here refer to NTFS compressed files, not the ZIP/RAR/7z archives which are not compressed. These files cannot be erased by Eraser as it'll involve low level disk access.
