I am unable to create the boot disk on either my old or new computer, since I have no a: drive on either. I do have a cd drive on each computer. I have Eraser installed on my old computer. My purpose in using Eraser is to wipe the hard disk clean so I can give my computer away. Thanks for any help.

Basically it will take your bootable floppy image and convert it into a bootable cd image

hope it helpsIf your CD drive is a CD burner, go to this website and download DBAN, which is what the boot-disk function creates:

Click on, Download DBAN for installation on CD and DVD media.
Make a CD from the ISO image that you download (don't just burn it as a file on a CD, check the forum for how to do this if you don't know)
Boot up with the CD. Choose the options you want and it will overwrite the hard drives.
