DBAN option for empty space only

wouldn't it be nixe if dban had the option to only wipe empty space ?
 
That sort of goes against it's purpose, dban is a "heavy duty" tool designed to completely nuke a disk. What would be interesting is Eraser installed on a BARTPE bootable live windows CD http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/. You could erase actual files and there cluster tips which are normally locked in Windows.
