DBAN seed file ??

I ruan the DBAN and one of message was detecting no seed file on floopy disk.
What is it and the purpose of the seed file?
 
Dont worry DBAN works well without but non the less this case shows that some people do not read readme files that come with the programs they download!!! Why do you think they are called README file!?
