Hi,
I would like to delete all system and data files from partition C of a windows XP computer.
Now this would normally be just delete *.* for a data disk or a disk booted in DOS.
However, I want to be sure I do not loose any of the information contained during the previous formatting process as this formatting contains a security code that drives a pierce of applications software. Needless to say the applications software is on partition D.
What is the way to do this?
Another way would be to copy the format information to an image and copy it back after a reformat of drive c: Is there software available to do this.
Thanks for any answers
Paddy
