Difficulty with installation of Eraser to Windows 10

I found that when I tried to install Eraser to Windows 10 I received a error message

Unable to create or save new files into folder into which the files are being extracted. Please check in the folder properties to ensure you have permission on the folder to write files and the folder is not read only

. At the same time a box appears that shows NetFramework to be loading. This has no way of closing except through Task Manager, and that kills the whole installation process.

I have tried running as administrator with same results.

Absolutely no change whatsoever to situation in OP. In meantime I have found a replacement.

I still can't get it to work. The framework keeps trying to download and I already have it. Any solution yet?
