I am new to this forum. I heard about Eraser in the book: Degunking Windows, but can only find a German site and cannot find out where to click for the actual download of the newest version. Can someone help me?

You're almost there. You can get to the download site through the "Eraser" button at the top of this page, or more directly through this link:

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/eraser/

The latest version is found in the file Eraser57Setup.zip

You'll need to unzip the file before installing, obviously.
