Each Unused Space Erase Lost 1.3 Gigabytes??

How do I get my memory back? I'm using the 5.6 Eraser version with Windows XP.
 
I followed the suggestion on an earlier thread and disabled System Restore, re-booted and WahLah, memory came back! Then I re-enabled it.
