Enable Clearing of Paging File.. is turned off & greyed out

On Vista x64 SP1 immediately after installing Eraser 5.8.7 and having the install process open Eraser, "Enable Clearing of Paging (swap) File at Shutdown" is checked. After closing and reopening Eraser, "Enable Clearing of Paging (swap) File at Shutdown" is unchecked and greyed out so that it cannot be turned back on. What can I do to enable this option?

You need to start Eraser as an Administrator for that feature to work. Right click the Eraser shortcut in the Start menu and click Run as Administrator.
