I spent a good amount of time testing this before I determined for sure that Eraser 5.8 is the culprit. After installing 5.8, I found that attempting to right-click on any object in explorer would result in the explorer process freezing up. No pop-up menu would appear. I found that this misbehavior would not occur until after the system had been rebooted following an Eraser 5.8 install.
I've had to stop using Eraser due to this problem, which is terribly disappointing as its an excellent security tool and quality freeware.
