Erase errors

New Member
I am a new user of this program. Each time I erase drive:c unused space I get a message stating complete with errors. When I check the error I get a message that says I don't have authority to...(can't read entire message). Can you direct me to instructions to erase deleted material on the c-drive?

It's (almost certainly) a permissions issue. Please read the FAQ post "getting to know Eraser 6". If you are running Win7 or Vista, you will need to run Eraser as Administrator, and details of how to do this are in that post. If you are running XP, you need to run Eraser from an account that has administrative privileges.
