Erase Only Primary Partition?

Hi Everyone,

Newbie Question. Normally I use DBAN to wipe my hard drives.

Recently I began formatting my hard drives to 2 or more partitions. Primary for OS and extended for programs and data.

I would like to do a WinXP clean install so would like to make sure all previous WinXP files are erased but like to keep the data on the other partitions.

Can Eraser do this? Read the Eraser Homepage, FAQ, and Support forum but did not find mention of this. Also did a search but found nothing relevant search.php

Hi Everyone,

Did some more searching and found this MS How to Delete a Primary Partition Without Removing the Extended Partition. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/249085

Hope there is a more simple way, would rather erase everything on primary partition, format and then install WinXP.
