Erase Unused Disk Space Speed

Have Eraser 6.0.9. Running erase unused disk space took a couple hours before the first piece of "Green" appears in the progress bar. Can there be a percent complete or estimated remaining running time? Also, a "FAST" simple toggled ones and zeros for my none military needs would be nice so the computer does not need to run for hours and hours on end.

You probably were doing an unused space erase with cluster tip erasure. There is a percent complete indicator and estimated running time, just that in the case of cluster tip erasure the progress is made so slowly the speed-time-progress relationship just doesn't hold well. In addition, the computation method for cluster tip erasure is different from normal erasure.

You can change the erasure method on a target basis. It is there in the Select Data to Erase dialog.
