eraser 5.7 bug

Eraser 5.7 dont completely erase short files (<200 bytes) that are stored totally in the MFT. (WINXPsp1- ntfs)
Only the first sector of the MFT entry gets wiped. Info that got stored on the second sector remained.

Bcwipe did wipe the whole MFT entry.

Not a conclusion. I saw it with a disk sector viewing program .

Works fine on fat32 though.
 
Don't count on it getting fixed any time soon. Best thing would be to submit a patch if possible, I think the eraser project is pretty much shelved at this stage
