Eraser 6.0.8

Quite new Sony notebook
Operating system: Windows 7 64 bit
Solid State Drive
I have installed Eraser 6.0.8 and I have programmed an immediate overwriting of unused space of C drive using default method but the program does not start.

I am afraid that you are in the wrong forum. Please, if you need to, could you repost this query on the Eraser Support forum. Before you do so, please read the FAQ topics on Getting to know Eraser 6 and Common Eraser questions. In the first of these topics there is a section on Running Eraser as Administrator. The most likely solution is that this is what you need to do; if, having followed the instructions exactly, you still have a problem, please post in the Support Forum.
