eraser 6.1.0. doesn't work

Hello,

I use windows 7. I had no problems in the past with the 6.0.9. version. Now when I try to erase with the new version, it says invariably :" erase has stopperd working". Tried to reboot, to uninstall and install again and again without success. What can be the problem ?

Which build are you using? Do remember that 6.1 builds are nightly development versions which are not offered for production use (though they mostly work quite well in that respect).

Your particular problem is most often, in my experience, the result of a failed installation, which can some times be tricky to remove. I suggest that you do do what I call a 'brute force' uninstall (search the forum on the term 'brute force' for details).
