Eraser, Alternate Data Streams and Restore Points

Read something about Eraser wiping (or causing Windows to wipe) Restore Points. My searches on this forum didn't turn up much.

Which files, and their associated Alternate Data Streams (ADS)will eliminate XP Restore Points when those files / ADS are wiped by Eraser?

The Help file indicates that only the ADS assoc w/ the files selected to erase will also be erased. I had some restore pts disappear, but I'm not aware that I erased any files assoc w/ Restore pts. Also didn't do a "wipe free space."

ADS will be erased when wiping a file, however if you wish to get rid of restore points, I think the only way to do it is to turn the option off, reboot and then wipe free disk space.
