Eraser as a non-admin/German language version?

Hi,

I have installed Eraser as an Administrator on Windows XP. However,
I want to use it as a normal user which does not have write access to
the installation directory.
When finishing Eraser I always get an error, that "default.ers" cannot
be save into Eraser's directory. How can I solve that problem?
Will there be other caveats in such a configuration? From the FAQ I
concluded that the only thing I cannot do is erasing compressed and
encrypted files.

Furthermore I'd like to know if german language support is available for Eraser.

Thanks,
Ulf

Yes German language support will be very nice. I also have a shareware program (in german) that can delete files for ever, but it is not so good like this eraser

I am facing the same problem regarding a non-admin installation... did anyone find a solution?

Regards,
Ben

Unfortunately, the only way to change this behavior would be to edit the source code. If you send a bug report via email, maybe this will get fixed in the next version?

Probably not. Perhaps it could be if someone volunteered to do the translation. It's open source and all.
