Eraser cannot connect to the running instance for erasures

I've just started trying to use the latest version of Eraser after years of trouble free use of V5, but find it very difficult to understand (and I have RTFM!!). In particular I'm completely stumped by the error message in the title when I use the context menu in Explorer and erase a folder. It happens every time - is it something I'm doing wrong or is it broken? I'm running WinXP SP3.

Did you exit Eraser after every task completes? What happens if you leave Eraser running?

This bug has been (finally) fixed in r2263. The next version of Eraser will incorporate the fix.
