Eraser fails when I ask it to erase the contents of a hard d

I setup the task to erase D\:
This is my secondary hard drive and I wish to remove all content. Drive D does not contain any programming. Only back up data.
How do I erase the contents without erasing one folder at a time?
Tried doing one folder at a time but was unsuccessful.
What am I doing wrong?
