ERASER reliability is higher if HDD is previously formatted?

Hello

I would like to know if Eraser´s reliability is greater in order to completely delete information if HDD is previously totally formatted?

Also, would be 100% is besides that you use one after other 3-4 different methods? i.e: DOD, Gutmann, etc?

My 2nd question is not corretly typped. It should read:

And, after formatting, if you use 3-4 different methods, like DOD, gutmann, gost, would deleting reliability be 100%?

If you are still trying to sort this out, see my reply to your other thread.

(And if you use either approach outlined there, using several overwrite methods is probably overkill.)
