Dear Sir/Madam,
I downloaded Eraser for 32 bit Windows 98. I put it on a disk to install it on an old computer that is not connected to the internet (online) - it is used only for word processing.
It seemed to install okay except I was not able to run it because the following error statement came up on three tries and I don't know what it means nor how to deal with it: "The Procedure SHGetFolderPathA could not be located in the DLLShell32dll."
Is there any way I can get it to work or is it a hopeless case?
I want to clean the hard drive so that I can give this computer away as a useful device although old. I've got some new equipment now. I understand that if I can't clear the hard drive, the only other choice is to destroy it.
Appreciate any advice in this matter.
